Located on five breathtaking acres in Minden, Ontario, Maplelane offers an exclusive, home-based boarding experience. Unlike traditional facilities, we don't just "house" your dog; we integrate them into our pack. Your dog becomes a temporary member of our family, receiving the same love, structure, and adventure as our own Goldens.

The Highlands Adventure

Our property is a canine paradise designed for enrichment and safety:

The Grounds: 5 acres of private forest featuring nature trails, a winding creek and beautiful gardens.

The Play Zones: Three secure, outdoor fenced areas for social play and a freshly renovated indoor lounge for relaxation.

The Daily Routine: Every guest enjoys daily guided hikes, plenty of fresh air, and supervised socialization with our balanced pack.

The Retreat Experience

Home Comforts: We provide all the "gear"—from premium toys to long-lasting bones. You only need to pack their food and a few favorite “comfort items” from home.

Safety First: During hikes, guests are kept on-leash or long lines unless they have a proven, rock-solid recall.

The Calming Retreat: When the adventuring is done, we focus on a "restorative" environment. Dogs enjoy high-end enrichment, quiet sofa time, and a structured routine that lowers stress and encourages calm manners.

Professional Add-ons: Want your dog to brush up on their manners while you’re away? Get some extra hikes in? Or receive some amazing pictures of your dog enjoying their stay? Add-ons available when you book to get the most out of your dogs vacation! 

Investment & Reservations

Maplelane is a fully insured facility. To maintain a peaceful environment, all guests must be crate-trained and social with children and other dogs.

Arrival & Departure:

Drop-off: We strongly recommend arrival before 12:00 PM to allow your dog to settle into the pack dynamic before evening.

Pick-up: If you collect your dog before 10:00 AM, the final day’s fee is waived.

Important Note for Intact Males: As we are a breeding kennel, we cannot accept intact males if any of our resident females are in heat. Please contact us to confirm our cycle schedule before booking.
